I have written several emails to complain and no one has written me back. I will never use them again!

I rented a car in DFW from 9/24/16-9/26/16 and prepaid the reservation. I have a picture of my original reservation for $58.01 made on 9/10/16. I have a an email reminder sent from Payless on 9/22 again showing my total of $58.01. When I picked the car up, their system was down so the agent had to hand write everything. I declined all extras and should of only had the deposit hold until return on my card. I returned the car with a full tank... Read more

I declined all optional services,but they manage to slip one in on my contract. The charged me $35 for emergency roadside services.... That I did not want. They refused to take it off. The counter person said it is always included in the contract. The charge is clearly listed as optional services, which I said I declined. There were another $15 in fees that were not on the original reservation quote from Southwest Airlines. Read more

Rented a car that I prepayed at Payless Rental Car in Dallas/ Fort Worth airport. Michael was the person who waited on me. He continued to try to talk me into getting Road side assistance and pre paid gas.I told Michael more than once that I did not want to purchase these extra services. We rented a car through Payless Rental Car at Sky Harbor airport in Phoenix Arizona. Long story short, they ran my car and said it wouldn't go through. So they ran my wife's card and it went through. Problem was, my card WAS charged for the rental, along with hers, so we're recharged twice. I caught the error online, and complained, and basically was given a run around. I just checked me bank account and they took the charged it twice anyways.... Read more

SkyHarbor Airport Location. Check in service was terrible. Ignored, people sitting around, customers have to ask to find help. In hurry, get checked out and later found cost 30% higher than up front agreed price. One fee of which was for "one way" which was not correct. Pick up and drop off location was SAME. Crazy. Other added fees honestly sounded like padding. Very poor experience. Very poor customer service. Read more

flew into denver international. waited 35 minutes for the payless bus. was first into line at remote payless office. manager came out and said they had no cars and would send us to dollar rent a car. all of a sudden had 4-5 cars available. after 1 hour i was given a car. the 5th one given out even though i was first in line. tried to explain my complaint to female manager with no identification tag. she said it wasn't their fault. unhappy... Reserved through Hotwire Compact Car. Given an Economy for the price and waited for the right size. Reserved $239 for the week and charged on my credit card $293 - dyslexia? One person at checkout and he left to help a women who complained so he was back after a half hour and we waited in line - getting longer. Malibu was filthy couldn't see out of the windows and side mirrors caked with dirt and water spots! Window sprayer was empty. ... Read more

I rented a car from Payless on August 28th was changed $139.00 for the rental fee, and $200.00 for a deposit the car was turned in after 5 days, with no problems filled with gas and cleaned which it was dirty when I received. I was told 3-5 business days for my deposit to be returned in my account. After No refund I called they said oh 7-14 days no refund then when I called again they said oh we're holding your deposit till everything check ok... Read more

West Palm Beach - told me that purchasing liability insurance on car in Florida was mandatory ($50 extra over Hotwire quote). IT IS NOT!!!! My NYS insurance would cover this for FREE. I put a hold on the payment with my credit card company. It would be great to find others for possible class action lawsuit. Very deceptive and fraudulent the way it was worded.
