Car would significantly shake when approached 60mph on highway. Reported the issue to the manager on duty when the car was returned.

6 months later received a letter falsely accusing me of damages due to an accident. The car was not damaged while in my possession. I only reported a mechanical issue.

No details were provided in the letter. Received a second letter a month later asking for my insurance info so that they could file an insurance claim for $1,032.48 Since when does a rental car company expect the customer to pay for the upkeep of their fleet by filing false insurance claims
