I too was a recent victim of their illegal activities. I am contacting lawyers and would like to include contact information for anyone else who was a victim of Payless Car Rental's fraudulent and deceptive business practices.
This company needs to be held accountable. I have taken the usual steps: BBB, Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, but they have been reported multiple times and continue to act with impunity.
My personal issue is that I returned the car with a full tank of gas which was noted on the return rental receipt; thereby giving them tangible proof.
They are refusing to issue a refund unless I produce a paper receipt from the pump (which I never opt to receive). They have closed my ticket and cut off contact with me.
