Booked a rental reservation with a base rate of 204.60 and Other taxes/fees of 82.39 for a total of 286.99. When I arrived on 1/26/18 to pick up my rental I asked if the vehicle had AWD.

The agent indicated that the Santa Fe was not AWD and he would see what they had. He came back stating that a 4-runner was available. It was an upgrade, but he would waive the upgrade fee. At the time of the rental, I did not pull up my reservation confirmation on my phone to confirm I was going to be paying the rate I booked.

I did sign and initial the rental paperwork at booking that had a $25/day upgrade. My bad, I guess. When I returned the vehicle on 1/30/18, I stopped at the Conoco station a couple of blocks from the rental car return and filled the gas tank. Upon reviewing my checkout receipt, the fuel level was logged at 7/8 and I was charged $20.09 for fuel service.

Book with Budget or Alamo, or something. Anything BUT Payless!
